This Morning and 10 Years Younger expert Dr. Uchenna Okoye dies after 'sudden illness'
Tributes have flooded in for Dr. Uchenna Okoye, a dental expert and business owner who shared her expert advice on many television shows including This Morning and 10 Years Younger.
10 Years Younger and This Morning star Dr. Uchenna Okoye has died suddenly.
A statement, shared on her official Instagram Story on Monday, reads: "We are heartbroken to announce that Dr Uchenna Okoye sadly passed away after a sudden illness on Friday 15th September 2023.
"We know many of you will be devastated and shocked to see this post.
"We ask for your prayers and some privacy at this difficult time. We will be in touch in the coming days."
Tributes have flooded in from many of the expert's 18,000 followers.
Former Loose Women star Andrea McLean commented: "This is the saddest news. Please pass on my love and prayers to her family."
Susannah Constantine wrote: "Shocked and heartbroken. Prayers to Uchenna's family xxx."
Donna Air typed: "What?! No, I’m so confused. How, why... her daughter!! Shocked and saddened."
Madelinelovesthis added: "Oh my god this is awful. I love Uchenna so much, she was the warmest, kindness person. Xxx."
"I can’t believe you’ve gone. I’m so sorry for your family, your daughter. RIP my friend," Myleene Klass typed.
Dr Okoye qualified at Guy's Hospital in London and was a specialist in cosmetic dentistry.

She founded the MYSmile brand, which is described as "a premium oral care system made with the best ingredients, for a brighter smile and a brighter you".
The dental expert demonstrated techniques and gave her advice on many television shows including This Morning, BBC Breakfast and, most famously on Channel 5's 10 Years Younger.
In 2015, the business owner was a part of a sugar tax debate on the ITV show.
During the segment hosted by Eamonn Holmes and Holly Willoughby, she passionately said sugar-related dental problems are epidemic.
Dr Okoye spilled: "For me, the health service spends ridiculous amounts of money, billions, on general anaesthetic for children to have teeth out.
"And, it's just down to sugar, it's completely preventable.
"It will save the health service money and I think we need to combine... it's not just about the parents, it's about the manufacturers it's about the Government, it's about everybody getting involved because we have a huge problem."
Dr. Okoye was also a proud mum to a young daughter, whom she often shared pictures with on her Instagram page.
Just earlier this month, she shared a snap of her child going back to school amongst five dental tips for children.
