Banish slugs from garden with 21p item from Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's and Morrisons
Gardeners can banish slugs and snails with a simple 21p trick using an item found in every major supermarket from Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's and Morrisons
They’re the bane of every gardener’s existence and even through the warmer spring and summer months, slugs and snails can attack your flowerbeds, fruit and vegetables relentlessly.
The greedy molluscs tend to come out in the evenings, night and during rainy days but gardeners are being told there’s a simple 21p solution that can help fight them which you can buy from any major supermarket including Asda, Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury's.
There’s an old gardeners’ trick that’s not only cheap but perfectly safe for the environment, the soil and uses no chemicals whatsoever.
Simply crush eggshells and sprinkle them across the soil. You can pop them around flowerbeds, along vegetable patches and in planters and pots.

There’s no limit to the amount you can pop down and the eggshell will have no negative effects on the soil or the environment at all.
Slugs and snails are obviously very soft and will not cross eggshells because the jagged bits will stop them in their tracks.
You can buy a box of eggs for just £2.60 for a dozen at Asda, and very similar prices at Sainsbury's, Tesco and Morrisons, making it a very cheap 21p solution to the problem.
