Shoppers are loving how affordable, cheap to run and low-energy air fryers.
For those looking to cut costs on energy bills, the expense of running an oven can be replaced with a much cheaper alternative cooking method, and air fryers are one of the healthiest, most popular and most cost-effective.
Research by Utilita and Iceland found that an average electric cooker can cost around 87p to run per day, whereas an air fryer be up to six times cheaper at around just 14p per day.
The Ninja air fryers have been selling out recently, however the premium price point of £299 is not affordable for many, and shoppers have discovered some cheaper but similar alternatives.
Argos's Instant Vortex ClearCook 7.6L Dual Air Fryer is £200, which is £100 cheaper than the Ninja version, and has similar features and design, plus some even prefer it, with (PUT SHOPPER NAME) saying it is ''far superior to the Ninja''.

The Argos air fryer has two drawers with separate controls, allowing users to cook different foods at the same time, plus the sync cook function can be used to mirror the settings in both drawers for bigger portions, and the sync finish setting will align both drawers to finish cooking simultaneously.
The clear windows in the device are ideal for checking the progress of the food, without having to open the drawers and compromise on heat or cooking time.
Amazon also has some great air fryer options, including the Cosori air fryer, which is extremely energy-efficient with an A+++ rating, plus it has 13 presets for easy cooking, including chicken, vegetables, frozen and dessert settings.
The 5.5 litre capacity can fit five to six portions, and comes with a 100-recipe cookbook, and shoppers are calling it 'economical' and 'life-changing'.
