Prince William couldn't help but tease 'flirty' Princess Kate, leaving him 'embarrassed' during a charity event. The Waleses have recently marked their 13th wedding anniversary, and over the years, they've given the nation countless glimpses into their playful relationship.

Their banter has covered everything from jibes about Kate's culinary skills to William's thinning hairline. A particularly amusing incident took place in December 2015 at an ICAP charity day where they were taking calls to raise funds.

William was in stitches when he caught Kate chatting with a man named Andrew on the phone, prompting him to quip: "Catherine, I think you can stop flirting with them now," followed by a cheeky comment to a broker: "Sorry, my wife is just embarrassing me."

The couple's light-hearted teasing dates back even further. In 2014, while on tour in Australia with Prince George, Kate couldn't resist making a playful dig at William's expense.

They met Lyn Crejan, a farmer who presented them with alpaca wool that was uncannily similar to the colour of William's hair, reports the Mirror.

Crejan, the alpaca owner, shared with reporters: "The Prince was interested in the alpaca and as I showed it to them the Princess said he should put it on his head," adding, "She said, 'You need it more than me,' and pointed to his head and he laughed."

It's not the first time William has been the butt of a joke; he's previously made light of Kate's culinary skills, suggesting that her home cooking is what keeps him trim.

The Royal pair were recently treated to a lavish five-course meal at Houghton Hall, prepared by five Michelin-starred chefs. The stately home is near their country residence, Anmer Hall, on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

Kate quipped to the chefs: "William has to put up with my cooking most of the time," To which William retorted: "It's the reason I'm so skinny."

Their ability to share a laugh has always been a cornerstone of their relationship. Reflecting on their bond during their 2010 engagement announcement, Prince William warmly spoke of Kate: "Obviously we both have a very fun time together, both have a very good sense of humour about things, we're down to earth, we take the mickey out of each other a lot, and she's got plenty of habits that make me laugh that I tease her about."
