Woman raped outside church in horror midnight attack as huge police cordon in place

A woman was raped in a terrifying midnight attack in Warwickshire.
A huge police cordon is in place surrounding St Nicholas Church in Vicarage Street, Nuneaton, while police are carrying out enquiries into the incident.
Emergency services were called to the scene in the early hours of Tuesday, May 13, following reports that the victim - a woman believed to be her 20s - was approached by an unknown man.
She was then "forced to perform a sex act".
Police remain at the scene around 11 hours later, and it is unknown how long the cordon will be in place, CoventryLive reports.
A spokesperson for Warwickshire Police said: "Just after midnight on May 14, police were called to a report of an alleged rape outside a church on Vicarage Street, Nuneaton.
"A woman was reportedly approached by an unknown man who then allegedly forced her to perform a sex act on him.
"A scene guard will be in place while evidence is collected in the area. If you saw anything in the area or live in the area and have doorbell camera, dashcam, or CCTV footage, let us know citing incident 4 of May 14.
