This Morning aired it's first instalment of the week, with Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley returning as hosts.
Gyles Brandreth discusses sandwiches on This Morning
As Monday's instalment of This Morning aired on ITV, viewers all shared the same complaint as hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard kicked off their first segment.
The pair sat down with Gyles Brandreth and Camilla Tominey to speak about the trending topics as they shared their opinions and reactions to the latest news.
However, viewers didn't seem best pleased with Gyles, 76, as they flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their complaints as the episode aired.
One unimpressed viewer fumed: "The ratings for this morning is plummetting down,its down to gyles brandeth,get rid of him & the ratings will improve, he is too old now to be in a show like this & he talks alot of rubbish, cat & ben are under pressure now to improve the ratings or they will be gone #ThisMorning." (sic)
Another frustrated social media user said: "Good grief. The first thing out of Giles mouth is all about Giles. We’re not interested Giles! #thismorning."

Somebody else expressed: "Giles is the king of making every segment about himself #thismorning." (sic)
Yet another ITV viewer wrote: "I never used to mind him, but finding Gyles tedious these days #ThisMorning."
A fifth person asked: "Why are these two always on? #ThisMorning."
While a sixth added: "Get to the f*****g point! #ThisMorning." (sic)

However, not everybody felt the same as somebody said about one of the topics: "Giles actually talking sense about prisons #ThisMorning." (sic)
While someone else agreed: "#thismorning I agree with Giles about prison and prisoners."
Cat, 47, and Ben, 49, were then joined by Masterchef star John Torode who was making sandwiches as part of British Sandwich Week.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV1 and ITVX.
